Kejadian ini bermula ketika secara tak sengaja aku berpapasan dengan tukang Mie Ayam keliling yang biasa beredar di depan rumah.Siang itu, kulihat dia tengah berasyik masyuk di pinggir jalan,cekikikan
sambil melihat sesuatu yang ada di tangannya.Bahkan saking asiknya, gerobak mie ayam itu ditinggalkannya begitu saja,seakan mengundang pemulung jail untuk mengangkutnya. Karena penasaran, diriku pun bertanya”Mas Jason (panggil saja demikian, karena dia sering dipanggil Son amapelanggannya “Son.. mie ayamnya siji maning sooon..”), sedang apa kok asik bener di pojokan?” tanyaku”Eh mas ganteng…( satu hal yang aku suka dari Jason adalah : Orangnyasuka bicara Jujur!), ini mas, lagi update status!!…

weehhh… njenengan fesbukan juga to??” tanyaku heran”Ya iyalah mas… hareee geneee ga fesbukan?!.. .Lagian kan lumayan juga buat menjaring pelanggan lewat fesbuk, kata pak Hermawan Kertajaya kan dalam berdagang kita harus selalu melakukan diferensiasi termasuk dalam hal pemasaran mass..

(bahasa halusnya henpon lawas)

Gimana caranya??”Owwh. . gampang mas, saya tinggal nulis statusnya lewat SMS lalu kirim ke Tri? jawab dia datar. “Ohh.. mas nya pake Kartu Three ya? Yang gratis internetan itu?”” Bukaaaan mas, Tri itu lengkapnya Tri Ambarwati… Dia itu pacar saya, sama-sama dari Tegal, yang kerjaannya jagain Warnet 24Jam! Jadi kalo butuh update, tinggal sms dia aja nanti dia yang gantiin status saya, Lha wong dia tiap hari di depan komputer jagain warnet. Paling sebagai balesannya saya gratisin mie ayam seminggu sekali… murah to…”Mendadak kepalaku pusing Bagaikan menderita dehidrasi akut sekaligus hipotermia tingkat tiga,aku limbung mendengar jawaban spektakuler dari mas jason…

Operation Support Subsystem(OSS)

Operation and Support System or OSS, is a sub system of the GSM network that serves as the central control of a connection is established. OSS consist of :

1. fault management, is an effort  to control and to organize a fault or failure in a connection. In other words as the handling and control for a connection established.
2. configuration management, is the arrangement of the existing configuration in connection architecture
3. performance management, is an effort to maintain a minimum quality standard created and made steps to maintain the reliability of these connections
4. inventory management is used to maintain the performance and conduct measures for the connection still works well

Network Switching Subsystem (NSS)

Network Switching Subsystem (NSS) is a component of the GSM system which made the call switching and mobility management functions for mobile roaming in the network base stations. By use the component allows a mobile device to communicate with each other and in the wider telephone. NSS can communicate a MSC to other MSC and built a good connection, so that communication networks are built starting from the mobile equipment can occur.

Mobile Switching Center or MSC, is a central network elements in a GSM network. MSC has a very important purpose as the core of the cellular network, which MSC is contribute to interconnection talks connection, both among mobile phones with mobile phones and PSTN as well as with wire.

Home Location Register or HLR is a database component that serves to store all data and information about customers to be permanently stored.

Visitor Location Register or VLR, is a database that serves the customer to store data and inform while during process of the call connection.

Authentication Center or AUC, is a component that serves to detect the validity of customer data so as to detect unauthorized calls, may be canceled. AUC serves to deviate the customer data is examined.

Registration atau EIR Equipment Identity, is the component that contains data customers.

Base Station Subsystem (BSS)

BSS is a system for managing connections between BTS and BSC in order to work properly. The BTS and the BSC communicate across the specified Abis interface, enabling operations between components that are made by different suppliers. The radio components of a BSS may consist of four to seven or nine cells. A BSS may have one or more base stations. The BSS uses the Abis interface between the BTS and the BSC. A separate high-speed line (T1 or E1) is then connected from the BSS to the Mobile MSC.

BSS consist of :

1. BTS is a component that connects directly with mobile phones to send and receive signals. BTS is main component in telecomunication GSM connections, where include basic component (microwave, antenna, servives rack,tower, etc.) Connections initiated from the mobile equipment will be received by the BTS via an antenna, then process it and after the identification will be communicated to other base stations in accordance with the call destination are connected by microwave.
2. BSC is a component to managing connection among BTS that connect one another.  BSC control the connection between BTS and MSC.

The Mobile Station(MS)

Is a device used by customers to make a good communication connection, consisit of conversation or others communication services.

Mobile station consist of:

1. Mobile Equipment (handset), is a GSM device which is on the users or customers who funsinya is a terminal transceiver (sender and receiver) that can communicate with other GSM devices.
2. Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) or the SIM Card, is an important part in the ME where without SIM Card, the ME can not be used. SIM card is a card that contains all customer information and some information services. Generally, the data stored in SIM is :

IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), is subsciber numbering

MSISDN (Mobile Subscriber ISDN), is dial number that represents the number of customers.
